About This Spot

Stepping into Cocina asiática Run on Av. Río Nalón is like entering a well-loved neighborhood spot where the pace eases and the inviting chatter carries the warmth of shared meals. The space breathes a quiet, easygoing rhythm — neither rushed nor too formal — where the subtle bustle of attentive staff blends into the background like a familiar melody. It’s a place that welcomes both casual diners and those looking to linger over thoughtfully prepared plates, creating a sense of connection beyond the food itself.

Here, the experience unfolds through vibrant flavors that hint at stories from across Asia, combining the comforting familiarity of classic sushi and dim sum with the spirited zest of Thai curries and crispy spring rolls. The menu invites discovery rather than demand, with offerings that engage the senses in nuanced ways — from the delicate textures of sashimi to the more robust, spiced notes of coconut-infused chicken.

What makes this restaurant stand out is how its atmosphere feels personal and genuine. The service is quietly attentive, not intrusive, fostering an environment where conversations fold naturally around plates and glasses. It’s clear that many who visit find themselves returning, not just for the food, but for the thoughtful care tucked into every interaction.

Whether you arrive after a long walk down the coastal strip or as part of a spontaneous evening, Cocina asiática Run strikes a balance between relaxed comfort and culinary invitation, offering a local experience that resonates beyond the last bite.

Called in for the €14.95 menu del dia, food was excellent, great value and excellent service. Had between us, Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken wings to start, Sweet & sour chicken and crispy duck with pancakes for mains and coffees to finish. Will definitely come back.

After wondering down the strip of bars and restaurants the staff at Run were polite and the menu looked good so later than evening we went back to eat there. We were welcomed by a friendly lady who offered us a seat and menu. We ordered drinks and wine, the wine came and we were offered a taste and it was wrapped and places in an ice bucket next to the table, anytime we needed a top up someone would come over and keep our glasses filled. I had the Run menu and my wife had a start and the sea bass. The Run menu comes with a lovely salad, spring rolls which were amazing, a main in a presentation box then a desert, I had the flaming icecream. Great to watch and tasted great. We loved the food and will definitely go back there. The serve, food and prices were all very good. It was low season so not busy but I was happy with that. Also far enough away from other pubs with sports TV on so you don't hear them.

Yum yum yum. We tried the Emperor tasting menu as we had already tried the Run menu. Both are delicious, try the emperor menu if you are trying to go low carb. The fried rice is delicious but there's enough food without it. The beef was divinely tender. Lovely service too, and this restaurant seems to be open year round.

Our favorite Asian restaurant. The food is really of good quantity. Tonight we went in to pick up some sushi, soup, chicken and rice. Never ordered sushi here before but had a craving for it. I am sad to say that the sushi was really disappointing. It had a sour taste and the fish just wasn’t all that. Before I would have given them 5 stars but this was really a bummer. The crew however was really lovely again.

Great Chinese food. We come here everytime when we come to Los Alcazares. The set menu is great value for money for both kids and adults. While here we had the crispy duck, sweet and sour chicken, Thai red curry, hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice and the vegetable rolls, all of which were really nice. Would recommend and will definitely be back again next year!
